The Magic of Belonging portrays the importance of typical experiences for all children.  Personal reflections and a collection of photographs capture the spirit of friendship, celebration of diversity, and promise of the future when everyone can play, learn, and grow--together.  The Magic of Belonging was first inspired by the song "Smile," by Jim Eaves and Bill Carozza, who contributed their work to this production.  Bill and Jim are principal and assistant principal, respectively, at Nottingham School in New Hampshire.

The Magic of Belonging may be used in presentations or discussions on diversity and belonging.  A wide variety of audiences may find it of interest, including school boards, PTAs, civic groups, early childhood professionals, parents, businesses, preschool and school-aged children, college students, and others.  We hope it will inspire viewers to join with others in their community who are committed to the principle that everyone belongs.
