The New Hampshire Leadership series began in 1988 at the Institute on Disability. Over seven sessions, this series provides parents and adults with disabilities with state-of-the-art information and strategies to create a vision for themselves and to achieve positive futures. More than 650 parents, students, and adults with disabilities have graduated from the NH Leadership series- these leaders advocate with service providers, use the legislative process to achieve change, and organize communities to support inclusion. This manual aims to replicate the series; to reach and work with people with disabilities and their families to create positive futures.
